The Hotel de Ville of Paris has to be unsurpassed in this world of City Halls. I counted the statuary tucked into recesses of the building’s façade, but only in the front and one side and came to the conclusion the City Hall of Paris has over 200 statues of great men for decoration. Of course whether they were really great or not remains to be seen. In this day and age there are men in the world being touted as great that have committed
atrocities against humanity. I wonder what the populace would say if they could hear their screams as they slide into hell at their death.
But don’t get me started on that. I’m in Paris, city of Dreams, city of Light, city of Romance, city of Possibility. To see this statuary everywhere makes one want to become great as well; not in order to be honored, but because it is possible. Dream big, bring Light into your plans, romance your dreams and assume they are possible to achieve. To me Paris is Possibility. Look at how much it has contributed throughout the ages and it isn’t finished yet!
